#1 Antilia, Mumbai, India
This house is huge. Actually, slightly bigger than that. Designated by Forbes magazine as the world’s most expensive home at a value of approximately $1 billion, owner Mukesh Ambani’s personal worth is estimated at $21.5 billion, so he’s not stressing over the mortgage payments. The home is built up instead of out, with 400,000 square feet spread over 27 unique stories. Its name, Antilia, comes from a mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean, and features such as 6 underground parking levels, and a health level with gyms, lap pool, solarium and juice bar. No wonder it takes around 600 staff members to keep the residence running smoothly.
